    Sync user catalog?

I have Chief on two machines, one which gets used by may assistant, less often than mine. Can I sync the user the files in windows for the user catalog, images, and textures without creating havoc? Or do I have to transfer from inside chief? Just occurred to me this morning that there might be an easier way but didn't want to create a mess.

SugarSync works for this and I you probably don't even need anything more than the free storage (2GB).

If you want to sync all the Plan Files you might need additional storage but it's pretty cheap.

I use Allway Sync to sync my entire CA X5 folder across two machines, and it works really well. The only catch is that it won't sync all of the files when CHief is open because they are locked. You probably don't need to sync very often once it's set up, so that may not be an issue. You can set up automatic synchronization with lots of options, giving you full control. I use it to keep my laptop synced with my desktop so I can be mobile at a moment's notice, and it works awesome.
I would recommend that you store the files in a folder on the same lettered drive and same named folder on separate computers though, otherwise Chief will ask you where to find library items if it can't find them. I.E., set up a folder like D:/Chief Libraries on both computers, then you will never have a problem.

Great thanks both of you. I've got SugarSync.
