Version 10 - Good place to locate manufacture libraries

I'm looking to expand my libraries on CA v10. I am specifically looking for cabinet manufacture libraries. Is there a good place to find these or specific links to manufacture pages? I can't seem to find much. I know that v10 is a little outdated and not supported by Chief much but there has to be something out there. Any help would be great. Thanks!

you can try various vendor websites and if they have .dwg or .dxf files
    you can try downloading those

check MENU - FILE - IMPORT to see what other formats ver 10 can import
if I remember correctly it is fairly limited, especially for 3D symbols

starting with ver X1 chief can import .SKETCHUP files from the free TRIMBLE warehouse
and other siteds with .SKP files

so I think you choices are very limited with ver 10

you could try finding a copy of ver 6 for Sketchup and then convert other files formats
that Sketchup can handle into .DWG or .DXF files

I don't remember how well that worked
but I do remember it being an option back then

Thanks for the info. I haven't had much luck so far. Sketchup v6 won't open most of the files on Trimble because they are v8+. Marvin windows/doors is still the only company I've found that has compatible symbols for download.

I have located some cabinets in .dwg format but I can't get them to load onto my plan. I select import - drawing (dwg) and then follow the steps but nothing shows up. Am I doing this wrong?

use the free Sketchup 8 and save as sketchup 6 fil
    then use Sketchup 6

check chief ver 10 for which version of autocad it can use
some of the vendors may be using the latest autocad version

you could try using Accutrans or some other free converter to
change to an autocad format chief ver 10 can use

also, maybe Sketchup 8 can save to that format ???
