Importing Sketchup
I'm attempting to learn how to import a pull down attic stair from sketchup. If CA has one I can't find please advise! However, During the process a pop up say's (Memory allocation error trying to import the 3D symbol. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

I assume you are using X5 64 bit version.
Download X5 32 bit version and install that, (it is fine if it is installed with the 64 bit version).
Open and import the Sketchup file in the 32 bit version, then the 64 bit version will have it in it's library too.

With X3, you should probably only download Sketchup6 (maybe 7)files or earlier. If the stmbol had too many faces, you may have problems too.
