Custom Material View
I have pulled my own jpg of a stone material I like for an exterior wall style. It shows up properly in Standard 3D view, but in Vector, the walls just show up bare and white. how do i get a stone type look to appear in vector view.
When i "Adjust Material Definitions" there are very few options available.

Thanks!

What you can do is either create new .pat files or find some if you do not have any and copy them to the pattern directory under Chief.. I have some that I copied over from Autocad. You might be able to find some here if you do not have any http://www.cadhatch.com/ or http://www.cadcorner.ca/hatch.php

It also has a batt hatch that i have been hunting down. but now the new question is how do i adjust the origin of my .pat files so my batts show up properly in plan view within my wall style?

You will have to mess around with the origin on the pattern tab. It is trial and error to get it to look right.

here is the issue. you will notice the vertical wall has the pattern as it should be, but the hatch doesnt move with the walls to stay consistent as you can see with the horizontal wall...

There was a thread on this recently, and it apparently did not work correctly. What I am saying is I do not think you can do what you want to do.
