Polyline question

To clear things up. The box I was referring to was the rectangle one at the top of the pull down menu. It appears that you need the "snap points" "center" selected or you will have a hard time selecting. On a side note, how do I get the cad box/rectangle to show temporary dimensions? I noticed in one of the video's the dimension would show when the cad object was selected. I went into the default and checked temporary dimension for cad objects but I do not see them.
