Wall heights?

I have some external masonry walls that don't seem to be created at the same level as other walls adjacent to them. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong? I'm assuming they need a floor to 'connect to'. In Revit I can select a wal or multiple walls (if similar construction) and in the dialog enter the overall height of the wall. I can't seem to find anything like that in CA?
Also, in the corners of some walls at high level there appears to be something strange happening. I'm guessing this has to do with wall intersection start & finish thru-framing?

CA builds walls to the established ceiling height set in Default Settings - Floor.

If there are no roof planes present, CA automatically builds Attic walls, until one either builds roof planes (which cut off walls below their plane) or manually adjusts such wall heights.
If there is no Room Dialog Box near by then there is nothing to "control" wall heights other than as above.

CA works on groupings of settings but in all cases if you want control, establish it, either manually or otherwise.

really appreiate that! the walls are external masonry rendered block, kind of like feature walls. They are are not providing any support or enclosure just blade walls to obscure the existing fascade of the house somewhat perhaps I can create a room somehow outside to control their height. I'll give that a try.

If you're trying to do wing walls like this that are not structural, then I just use slabs in general. This way you don't have to deal with certain problems that may come up when trying to do this with a wall type. Less headaches.
