Change the font style and size of "UP" and "DN" on stairs

I can't seem to find any place where I can change the font and the size of the "UP" and "DN" indicators on a stair arrow. I can change the arrow and its size, but not the actual notation. Can anybody help?

I make my own arrow and use my own text label to suit my own font and size..

It's a workaround (and I hate workarounds), but it works for me. Perhaps the current X5 addresses this issue.

You can redefine it through the layer Stairs & Ramps, Up/Down Arrows.
