Still in X5
Working in CAD - why is the point to point move tool NOT WORKING ???? Very frustrating!

Do you have your "end snaps" turned on? It must be on.

Yes, in the Edit, Snap Settings, everything is on. Strangely, it's working about 1/2 the time, but not always.

Try zooming in a little closer and see if that helps finding the end snap. If you have all the snaps on and depending on the zoom level, it might be seeing other snaps. I always work with only the snaps on that I'm using at the time. However, many people work with all the snaps on all the time.

BTW, it helps to display your snaps in a toolbar so you don't have to go find it the way you did. To do this, be sure you have "Contextual Menus" enabled under preferences>Appearance. Now in plan view, just right click on any active tool bar and select "Extended Tool Configuration". Now you'll see all your snaps and other useful tools as well. I'm pretty sure this is not on by default.
