Roof shingles not displaying correctly when I Send to layout...
Hello, folks. On the far right awning/roof overhang, CA will not display the roof shingles. The roof shingles display fine all around, just not on this awning. However, when viewing as Vector, the shingles look fine. Only when I sent to layout, does it not display correctly.
Any ideas?????
Thx folks, much appreciate any assistance, pointers.

Might be a wall poly-line sticking through the awning roof messing things up (hard to tell from just your image).

Hi Ross,
Just a theory in why there's a quirk.
It looks as if the roof overhang is a separate roof...meaning not part of the same hip roof. If they are indeed two roof sections you have two options.
1.) Make a cleaner connection by using the join roof tool.
2.) Better yet...
- delete the lower shed
- Manually break the hip roof section and drag a portion downward to where the shed section had been.
If either of these aren't the cause, grab the handles on that outside wall in a 2D view with your mouse. See if pulling it down a few inches has anything to do with the roof not appearing. Sometimes walls can abbreviate the roof planes.Val
