base cabs with only doors and no drawer fronts at all?? Using X5

Can I base cabs with only doors and no drawer fronts at all?? Any help would be appreciated. I am not able to log on to my digital locker because that way maybe I could download some cabinets that already have no drawers or blanks at the top. I have not been able to log in to the digital lock for quite some time. I was given a new password and was told to login within 24 hours, did that and it never worked at all even with the password they gave me. Anyway, I would like to be able to have base cabs with no drawer blanks or drawers as a default many times.

Open the cabinet dbx, select the drawer, and click the delete button. If you want that cabinet to be the default setup click the "set as default" tool.

I thought it might have been a trick question, then I realized we have all asked (or continue to ask) seemingly dumb questions at one time or another.

Red Face can you eliminate the drawers on a base cabinet?

DSH and Alaskan Son: Thanks so much for your quick response. HOLY SMOKES!!! I NEVER KNEW YOU COULD DO ANY OF THOSE THINGS! I didn't even know that little elevation/image in the DBX was interactive. I even just read the Help and the X5 Users Reference Manual on the subject, or so I thought! Bless you both.

Go to Defaults->Cabinets->Base Cabinets and adjust the details for what you want as a default. You can edit the front components, materials, etc.

Thanks Joe. I got the info. from Alaskan Son and DS Hall. I've been using that dialog box for seemingly forever, actually 3 whole months, and never known that you could click on a component in the small elevation and then just delete stuff. Totally awesome!

The difference in my post really was that you can do it in defaults and then each cabinet you place will start out with that configuration.

BTW, I even use cabinets to create book-cases, file cabinets, etc. I then convert those things into Furniture Symbols. Since I do quite a bit of Tenant Improvement work it's nice to have the file cabinets in the Library with a "Putty" color finish so they look like the metal lateral files that you would find in an office.
