I placed a bar stool under a countertop and it appears in plan view on the top of the countetop, how can I get it to show correctly? I selected the countertop and changed it to "front of group and nothing happens......

Make sure the cad block does not have a fill, put it on a layer so it shows up as dashed, that's the best you can do with the least bit of aggravation.

Actually, you can select the counter-top (assuming it's a custom counter top) and set it to have a fill (light grey is what I like) and that will hide the bar stool. You just need to know how to use the program.
