Lighting
In my orthographic floor overview some walls are bright and others are shaded. I believe that has to do with the sun placement. How do I turn that off so that all walls appear normally colored?
Thanks

You don't. If they were all the same color you wouldn't be able to tell where the corners were. This has been discussed before.

Ok, can you lessen the effect? The color change is so dramatic that you loose the benefit of the standard view screen shots. - I'll review older posts as well.
Thanks

Scott,
If you want more realistic scenes - use Ray Trace.Joseph P. Carrick, Architect - AIA

You can also go to 3D View defaults and increase the ambient lighting. In preferences under Render, turning on or off enhanced lighting can make a difference too.
