    Workaround for collinear walls?

An exterior wall is divided by a bay window. I just discovered, however, that those 2 walls are not collinear -- a 5/8" mismatch.

Not a problem I thought. I'll try that wall alignment button. Select one of them, then the parallel / perpendicular button, then hover over the candidates that Chief offers -- select the other wall.

Checking them out, however, nothing has happened.

Any tips on what I could be doing wrong -- or workaround?

    Got it (I think).

Draw a CAD line parallel to those walls -- well, parallel to one of them. Dimension from CAD line to both walls, observe difference. Select the wall that needs changing, then select the parametric dimension and alter it to match the other one.

    TK,

You are using the wrong tool.
The Make Parallel/Perpendicular doesn't align - it only makes, ......DA, DA .............parallel or perpendicular.
You can use one of the align tools or drag and snap to the other wall.......

I use the align tools for this all the time. They're 2 of my favorite tools.
