How do you rotate a vinyl fence /posts in X4?

Silly question and maybe I'm not grasping what's needed, but I've made up a post, top, intermediate, bottom rail with vertical newels from blocks. I'm trying to rotate the entire block (shift select) 90 degrees. There is no Rotate command and I cannot see the "triangle" for rotation? Am I missing something entirely with X4?

How, I mean by what methods? What sort of object is it that you have (custom made, Library Browser object)?

Existing Library Browser symbols have an "Open Symbol" dialog where you can rotate such things by way of that dialog (custom symbols, made in Chief do not), in other words, make a rotated one if that is what you did, or export it to Sketch Up and then rotate it then re-import the rotated copy.

There is usually a way to skin cats, if skinned cats is what you want.

There are ways to do this, depending on how you created the object(s). DJPs answer doesn't make sense to me but that's because I create and use custom symbols almost entirely within Chief Architect. If you can post a pic of your Fence I can help you.

BTW, I'm in San Marcos so if you need some one on one help......

I've made a series of vinyl posts, top/bottom/intermediate rails and infill newels along with glass panels for the fencing. I found a way to rotate this series of "solids" by creating a block. This gives you the "triangle" in which to rotate the entire block. This is working so far. I've got another major problem which I'll post (no pun intended) on another separate thread regarding a parapet wall (again from soffit tool) which will not close on the sides of a gabled roof.

Is there a reason that you have not use a "Fence" or a "Railing Wall" for this? It is possible to make a custom "Millwork Symbol" and use a "Panel" Railing Wall with any Newels that you might want. This gives much more flexibility.

IAE, a picture is worth a thousand words and the actual plan is worth at least twice that. IOW, show us the problem and we can help much easier.
