    I'd just stopped in on this out of curiosity and noticed the above.

    Back when, after our first serious project - each of us with 6 pages of ink plates, lovingly crafted bristol board models, raw finger tips and no sleep- the instructor for the next class came into the studio. Said when he was at school they made them go out into the parking lot and burn their first models, suggested we do the same- never "fall in love" with our ideas. No one did it but still one of the most useful things I learned there.
