I agree with Scott. The small piece just below the roofing (looks like a 1x2) that covers the edge of the roof sheathing is the "Shadow Board".

OK, it's a frieze!
Then, from what I see, the only change to the program is the ability to add a 1x to the rakes. I'll admit that's progress but we still have to jump thru hoops to get different size frieze on gables and eaves. Build one size,,, select all of them,,, one or the other,,,, uncheck auto,,, rebuild the other size,,, select them,,, uncheck auto,,, go around and change all the roofs settings to remove the wrong one! I'm beginning to think 9.5? had the right idea,,,, draw them manually.
I hope I have enough years left to see this aspect of the program perfected,, o ya, and the mud sills also. :-)

off line for a while,,,,,,

Ray,
Click on Build/Roof/Edit all Roof Planes. There you can select any of the Roof Plane tabs and make the changes. You can change the size of the Shadow Boards and even select Molding Profiles from the Library. You can do the same for the Frieze.
I started with 9.5 and have upgraded every version since except X2 - No way would I go back.Joseph P. Carrick, Architect - AIA

Ray,,,, been in the field mostly for a couple of years but back to the drawing board for a while,,, I've had my eyes on you folks! :-)
Joe,,,, yes, but to change the gable frieze to a different size or shape than the eave frieze is not that easy,,, a little easier now with the eave or gable switch but still time consuming.
what do you call a boomerang that won't come back?

Ray,
I know that with a Shadow Board you can "Unlock the Layer" then edit the resulting Polyline that is on the "Roof Trim Layer". If you subsequently add another Shadow Board you will have 2 different ones. Note that the one you edited while unlocked is unaffected by any changes you make to the Shadow Board in the Roof dbx.
I haven't tried it but you might be able to do the same with the Frieze.Joseph P. Carrick, Architect - AIA

Ray,
It would be best to get a call on this from Chief. Whatever convention they are using for "shadow board" is what is in the code, not our opinions, and that is going to affect your design.
Let us know what you find out from Chief.
