Garage Foundation Walls ~ What's Up?

This is not new to X5, I think it started with X3.

If you specify a room as a "Garage", how does Chief determine the foundation wall heights. I specify for them to be the same as the rest of the structure, but Chief doesn't seem to care, and builds them another way anyway.

I can model the garage manually, slab and so forth, correctly. But, I was wondering why Chief doesn't follow the specifications in the Build Foundation dialog. Unless I am not interpreting the dialog correctly?

Any ideas on this?
