Auto Save recovery
I did a search, but didn't find exactly what I was looking for.
My PC crashed when I left it unattended for about ten minutes (It's brand new HP but it looks like I've got a lemon) but when I rebooted nothing of my last 5 hours of work was saved on the PLAN file. The LAYOUT file that was open was saved, but the auto save did not work for the plan file. That was reflected in the layout when I opened it as the layout image had reverted back to before I put the new work in. I typically click "save" judiciously as I know this computer is crap, but seemed to have missed it this time.
Is there an obscure place that an "Auto saved" file could be hiding? I'm not blaming CA as the problem is with my computer and my manual saving habits, but if there is a chance this little nugget could be found that would be great.Chief: Version X4 on Windows7
