Yep, maybe auto roof returns are broken, I am not sure since I don't know enough about auto roofs. I did them manually with no problem. I got what I wanted with no problem using manual roofs, easy peasy, maybe 30 seconds.

    here is a vid................

No. I saw it mentioned in another thread and believe the CA folks are on it but can't be sure.

Maybe you're right. I'll remain curious - that way I get to learn more instead of pretending I know.

In this case it wasn't the machine, but the setting, That's why posting the plan takes out all the guessing

Just called tech support. X5 should run fine on XP 32 bit so maybe now we can continue dealing with facts instead of conjecture.

Jintu, If you're getting the same error as I they suggested reinstalling the Visual C++ package, HERE'S a link hope it helps.

that xp update is good for your system, I still would upgrade if I were you. Its just old. it doesn't matter if you do or don't, just a suggestion. take it or not, just trying to help. and I was partially correct but the longer you wait it will get worse.

    Perry,

Appreciate the advice and have to admit I'm pretty sensitive about upgrading because I simply cannot afford it. The economy hit me really hard and I can't afford anything, now or for the near future, and I'm not being hyperbolic. I'll upgrade when I'm financially able.

In the meantime I hope this thread helps those still running XP.
