How is a "Dutch Hip" roof entered into the program? Is there a training video?

    Hi,

Designing two buildings where the owners want a "Dutch Hip" roof style. A "Dutch Hip" roof is essentially a Gable Roof with a 4-way hip roof around the perimeter, say over a 6 foot deck and the gable roof planes continue at the same pitch or slope down to the "ring beam" (post and beam) and at the high gable walls the same pitch is extend up above the deck to the gable wall. It also has a "camber" at the ridge beam, to give the roof design a real tropical look like in Tahiti or the Carri bean.

Does anyone know of a training video for doing this design.

Has anyone out there done one of these "Dutch Hip" roofs before... I need your input... Thanks Dan

In the "Build Roof" dialog, you can select a "Half Hip" Roof. Not sure if that is what you want. If not, maybe attach an image of the roof design you are describing.
