    X3 to X4 Lighting Issues

    Hello all,
Looking for some help. When i open my plans from X3 in X4, my lighting is whacked out. See examples. X3 plan lighting is as required, X4 lighting is 'blown out', even after changing light intensity to 25w for all lights. I also unchecked the 'use enhanced lighting' feature in the preferences.
All my X3 plans are behaving this way. What's up with that?

No expert on what may have happened but from the looksof things it seems that some of the lights are point lights. They should be spot lights. You may also want to change to custom setting and adjust manually.
Best I can offer for now.

I believe X4 was ramped up a little because everyone was complaining about dark renders, just re-adjust the settings in the 3d DBX.

Try seeing if updating your video card drivers makes a difference. I saw this problem occur on only one machine and after updating the video drivers, the lighting looked just like it did on all of the other machines we have seen.
