Match Properties Command In Chief?
Is there an equivalent to the match properties command found in Autocad? When amending or changing the appearance of an entity it would be good to be able to match properties and select other desired entities rather than manually go through the options once the object in question is opened each time.

They have a match layer but it would be nice to have a match all property's.

try the 'select same" and "load same" tools
limited in overall usage but handy at times

There are a couple of tools that can be used:
1. Select Same Type / Load Same - provides a way to find and select a set of objects for editing.
2. Set as Default - changes the plan defaults to match the selected object. Any objects of like type with default values will automatically be changed to the new defaults.
Both of these are located on the Edit Toolbar when you select an object.Joseph P. Carrick, Architect - AIA

The eyedropper works well too for matching material properties. For example if you changed one cabinet from wood to white, you could then click on eyedropper, then he changed white cabinet, then click on all the other cabinets to change them to white too. Much quicker than going through the dialogue box for each cabinet.
