Attached is latest plan. How do I get the primary contours to read both local elev. and sea level using regions? Back of lot can not graded, too many trees.Keep in mind, I never do this. I just add a note of sea level to the local maker ref and everything is acceptable -- But what if?
    Gerry,
These people have a pond/moat around the house! Is this the existing or proposed? Or are just trying to see if this can be done with regions?

This is a existing lot with actual site survey. The lot was excavated 50+ years ago for a farm drainage line and left in this state. Owners are trying to build there because it is an inherited lot and a freebee. Most of the lot can not be graded because of number of trees. The location picked is the only one economical considering fill required if total regrading is rejected.

The amount of fill needed here might make this unpractical. -- my point to Owner - but who knows. That's why I overlaid the pad on the site data.

My point is that regions are not feasible here. Only option if sea level data would be required is mass selection and raise/lower of all points to new level. Easy enough, but does not require setting pad elev or anything else to zero. I would leave auto-cal on with adjustment and everything would line up.

Also note that in my area, this is not required. Only one data point at sea level need be shown. We're still talking 6 vs half dozen.

It is very doable with the region tool, I was just asking as it is a bit strange.
You also said that this detail is not required, begs the question of why you would be wasting your time?

Please please please add the terrain contour adjustment option, working on a tough site and would love to be able to flip back and forth between contours relative to sea level and back to relative to finish floor, please.

This is coming from someone who has never been able to succeed in any of my auto roof challenges. Gary, let's agree to disagree.
