Installing new Cabinet Catalogs / Libraries

What am I doing wrong? Ive read other threads w/o a final answer.

I have downloaded several new cabinet catalogs. They are on my desk top, they are .catom files. I double click on them.. nothing happens. I try to open from the CA menu bar . but it won’t open .catom files.
I have the library browser open.. no progress bar.. no nothing.

Im shocked at something so simple is so difficult to find in a user guide! sigh.

    BeckySue,

I think you are going to the wrong download page. As Lew mentioned .catom files are for X3 and absolutely obsolete!

Obsolete for X4, some may be obsolete in regards to what is available today.
You need to check to be sure. This is one reason why they put the date on them now.
