symbol fill and order

Hi just wondering if someone can give me a tip on changing the viewing order of symbols in plan view.I have had a problem getting a dining table symbol (with fill checked ) to cover dining chairs when viewed in plan view.....the chairs always come through the table fill....just looks messy .....has been happening for as long as i can remember and still with X4...am I missing something?

Try this:
Select the table.
Use the "Move to Front of Group" tool that appears on the Edit toolbar.
