    Gable Trim

    Come on All you Thinkers out there!!! Iam using x 4 and I am putting togeather a simple 1 1/2 story ranch. but know matter what i try it wants to leave off the trim board on just one section of a front gable and this lets you see the under side of the roof sheathing if your at the right angle on the larger of the two gables on the left side of the house ..Some help is needed I am pulling out what little hair i have left.

    Notice that the rake is cut off directly above the edge of the bump out wall. Make sure that your roof baselines are in the correct position. It would be easier if you could post the plan.

    Missing gable trim

    This problem now has be keeping me awake at night. Missing a piece of trim board on the larger of the to gables on the left side of the house. These have been all auto roof planes and even when I change them my self it does not fix Thanks for your intsest gary i posted some floor plans that may help . maybe its just me....

    Missing Trim

    Gary I owe you one.!!! Went back to the drawing board. Even though these were auto roof planes I went back and moved the roof plane about one one hundredth of an inch the trim became visible .. Thanks againg Gary now that I know it's that sensative it wont get me again ( I hope)

    Glad it helped, this is a problem from time to time, which is difficult to track down. When I get it fixed, I hit undo and fix it again so I can see exactly what is causing it (most of the time).
