    Wall Detail Framing Dimensions?

So I must be missing something. When I generate wall framing and then open up the Wall Detail it does not allow me to dimension. The only dimension that works is the point to point. If I convert to CAD then all the dimension tools work. The framing box is checked in the defaults for dimensions. Let me know what I am missing here. Thanks.

Go to your dimension defaults, and check framing.

That box is checked. The point to point dims work all the time but the end to end dimensions do not. Its like the end to end does not pick up framing material because it will pick up Cad lines and dim lines. I've checked the box box closed out, then checked it on and still the same problem.

Very Very Helpful Bill and Scott. Never really knew why framing dimensioning only worked sometimes. I just went and double checked all my anno sets and sure enough some 'framing' check boxes were turned off.

Hope the OP gets it sorted as it seemed to work correctly here.
