Question Vertical mouse with track ball?

There are several options in the market to help with hand issues- I am looking for reviews from those of you using Chief. I have been happy with my Logitech trackball for years but now need something vertical to relieve hand cramping. Any ideas?

All my hand/ wrist/ arm issues went away after I started using the Evoluent vertical mouse. Took a couple of days to get used to but it is well worth it.

Egad, I am not buying the wrist twist thing. I have 11 buttons and looking for more, I could not live with 6 buttons.

The Evoluent eliminates the "wrist twist thing". It allows for your arm & wrist to NOT have to rotate like it does with a typical mouse. As for the button numbers I would suppose that if you are a REAL power user then you could have a mouse for each hand?

What a great Idea! Now I will have 22 buttons! I guess I'll have to hit the keyboard with my nose!

I've been using the Evoluent Mouse for years now and love it. Completely eliminated the wrist issues I was having. Makes me markedly more productive because I can go hours with no strain.

And it was Bryce's recommendation that had me try it. Can't imagine not using it now!

Actually, I've also been sitting on an exercise ball instead of a chair now for years as well. Saves your butt and your back. Takes a while to get used to, at first I could only use it for a couple hours at a time but worked my way up to pretty much all day now.

You could try switching hands. A bit over a year ago I switched to using the mouse with my left hand because of pain in my fingers. It took some some persistence but I'm now pretty comfortable using either hand now.

As far as those that prefer more buttons, I had thought about getting both the left and right hand Evoluent mice and trying to work two-handed, and then have effectively 10 buttons, but then I come to my senses.
