How to change size of grid boxes
I was wondering how to change the display refrence grid to 1cm by 1cm

How do you change the display refrence grid to 1cm by 1cm per box?

On the refrence grid where each box is 1 inch by 1 inch I want to change it to 1 cm by 1 cm each I so can measure in metric

You need to be working in a metric template, then double click the select arrow, (top left tool bar), there you can change the reference grid or snap grid to whatever size in mm or set your defaults to cm's etc etc.......

You weren't clear about what you needed to do and why. Perhaps you should have attached a plan?
But on the assumption that you want to stay in imperial units and use the grid as a measuring bar, insert 0.39370078740 in the snap grid box, This is the in to cm conversion. It would also just be easier to do the math.Gerry
