wall doesn't meet in exterior corner
In XI, my exterior walls (same wall type) meet perfectly in plan, but in 3d they don't resolve. I have tried recreating them all, but they still don't work. I also tried to fix corner button. They look fine in plan, so I don't know what's going on. thanks

The wall dialogue box now has a structure tab. You have play with the wall intersection options to make them butt correctly. Either "through wall at start or at end.
The automatic wall butt was much better ....in my opinion.Val

thanks for the replies. Yes, I'm in X1 so I'm assuming that the remedy you suggested is not available- any other ideas?

Insert Homer Simspon emoticon. Doh.
My guess on the fix would be to pull the walls a few feet back (on each one) and look for a small unwanted / hidden section (of wall) before snapping them back.
one a side note Andy...
Your Dad can probably relate. My parents were both European ...and I grew up in the Bronx. Needless to say it was a challenging childhood being teased by all the Vinnie's and Tony's, Valentine (or Valentino in Italian) just isn't fitting for a guy unless you live in Russia.
Luckily I grew fast and muscular. By my teen years I was 6'-3" and earned a scholarship to a well respected NCAA Division 1 swimming program. These days if I'm not behind the computer...I'm still in the pool.

wow, here's a weird thing- I copied part of the plan into a new blank plan. In the new plan, the wall works fine!
