Holes in Ceiling Planes in Vaulted Rooms Above Seperation Walls

I come across this often when walls seperate rooms below a vault around a stair well. It bothered me for a long time until I finally checked with support and they directed me to the radio button in the ceiling plane dbx "use room ceiling finish". Uncheck it and the ceiling fills in. Hope that helps someone. It made my day.
