How to use .catom files in X4

I have X4 and it's the first version of CA I have had. I am downloading the Manufacturers libraries. I noticed if you try to use the X3 libs they come down as .catom files. There doesn't appear to be a way in X4 to install these and i cannot find references to this on the site or manuals. What is the method CA supports to get X3 content into X4?

I did that. To be specific, there is a closet package by Canyon Creek in the X3 area that isn't in the X4.
