Render questions
RENDERINGont do much, but now getting into it
Two issues
1. When I render a camera view, the render area is not the same as the screen area, so the object when rendered (house) is off center and off screen. How can I get my screen area to render fully?
2. I make some time lapse type videos of different designs (framing through finish) that are all rendered from the same camera. I know how to save a camera, but at times halfway through a series of renderings I accidentally move that camera. That totally messes up the flow of sequentially rendered shots. Is there a way to lock that camera view down so I cant change it unless I want to? I hope that makes sense.

1. center the camera on the house model (not sure if you mean open gl or phoebe-ray-trace, could you be more clear please?)
2. use a saved camera, that way it will not move unless you move its icon.

Got the first one figured out, (check use active window size) in ray trace dialog
As for that second one, I understand about saving the camera, but while in that view I have to be really carefull with my mouse or I will move the camera. I was looking for a way to lock it unless I really do want to move it.current CA version X3

I cannot disagree with the "Lock camera" option as a concept but I must confess as well that accidentally moving the camera has never happened in all the years I have used that tool to make transition-type slide animations using "Flash" or other animation programs so I never considered it broken or needing fixing.
