I think more than most architects, her work is about movement (spatially and temporally), so it may not be possible to really appreciate her work without moving through it in person. But we're WAY off of the original Craftsman post here...

I am currently studying Classical Drawing Atelier by Juliette Aristides. This is a study on the original classical drawing and proportioning systems. She has an art school and studio in Seattle WA.

She also has published a book on classical painting. The same rules apply to drawing and painting as apply to photography and rendering techniques. Highly recommend looking into this if you are serious about learning art.

    Back on topic...

I completely forgot I had this tucked away on my computer.

The Craftsman Style Guide, in pdf. I don't know who created it or where I got it, but it's a great resource.

I had to split it up into two pdf files because of the size.

This is the same guide that Dorothy referenced on page p.1 of this thread. (Although her link doesn't work.) http://www.ci.glendale.ca.us/plannin...%20Version.pdf

Thanks for that Allen. Do you happen to have any more for other styles?
