How to use Stone Retaining Blocks
I am working on the landscaping around a home I am designing. The lot is fairly steep and there is a need for retaining walls and/or using Keystone type dry stack landscape blocks. I found some landscaping blocks in the CA Core Catalogs > Architectural > Fences & Railings > Retaining Walls.
Has anyone used these block "retaining walls"? I am curious as to what the best way to use these is. How are they used to retain the terrain "in Chief" or is this a misnomer? Are we suppose to do a bunch of juggling of these wall segments to weave them together for good appearance? There are three symbols availabel (2 block high, 4 block high and 6 block high) ... each symbol is 60" long and the ends are staggered. It appears that each block in the symbols are 5.5" tall (e.g., the 4 block high symbol is 22" tall).
Thanks.
