No, not at all.
Go to "3D>Lighting>Add Lights". Here you are adding 'invisible' light sources. They are not attached to any particular fixture, they are just for lighting your scene to get a better raytrace.Allen Brown

for exteriors you aslo need to "hassle" with setting the sun angle the time of year and day, maybe set the longitude and latitude

ok so ia dded some light sources, 80% intensity and this is what i get.
glow seems to be gone, that black portal should be blue so the colors are off for some reason, still a bit of a glow i guess.....further suggestions?
