How to merge house .plan with engineers dwg grading plan data

Hi. I have a house plan I created in X3 and would like to place the plan onto the terrain data from my civil engineer's site and grading plan. Any ideas on the easiest way to do this so that I can accurately place, and preferably be able to move the house once it is placed onto the terrain data?
    Thanks

    abchomesolution,
    You have it backwards.
The house stays where it's at. Import the site & grading data into the house plan & orientate relative to the house.
Block the data together so it all moves as one 1st, then place it where it needs to go.

one method to be able to freely move the house without affecting the terrain is to keep the house in a separate plan and make a symbol of it

it is recommended to make a copy of the house plan and then strip down the interiors or turn off unneeded layers and this will reduce the house symbol size.
