    Rotate Label?

Is there a setting so the dish washer label rotates?

Not that I have ever found.

Like other work a rounds I just place text over the labels so they can be read correctly.

You can edit the CAD block that the symbol uses and rotate the "DW" label. While you are at it, you can make three others, then copy, adjust, relabel all four symbols so you have a DW for going on the N, S, E, and W walls.

Some of the DWs have a label, some don't.

CA should fix this. Standard practice is that text should always read from right/bottom.

Allen, if you can get by with this arrangement, explode the Cad Block, open the text and uncheck "Rotate with Plan", then re-block. If not, maybe you can at least get by with fewer symbols, or Cad Blocks.

My suggestion would be to simply remove the "DW" designation from the cad block and then use cabinet labels and use custom labels such as "(N)DW or (E)DW.

On another note, can't we select the "DW" text and specify ROTATE IN PLAN, and won't the text then rotate along with the symbol, i.e. GFI outlets..... or am I goofed up?

Silly me. Shoulda known this. I already made 16 separate symbols, one for every minor point on the compass!

    . . .

    Not really.

    Chief already fixed this.
