Angled Molding

I'm designing a house with a stuccoed fascia. I can use a Soffit or a Molding Polyline to show this on the eaves but neither tool will work on gables. The problem with the soffit is that as soon as you change it to an Angled Soffit it loses the molding. This was true in v.8 too. I like the Molding Polyline because the molding is seamless at corners (e.g hips), but I can't set it to an angle for the gable end.

I would like to view the fascia in 3D at the gables and also not have to use CAD to draw the fascia in on the elevations.

I thought that I could attach a molding to a Polyline Solid but I don't see how to.

Is there anything that a molding attaches to that can be set at an angle?

Any other suggestions?
