Making a window block

I would like to make one objet that I could just re-use when I need. Ih there a way of doing that. It's a window build out that is kinda like a sit-a bay window....

In a 3d view,tool,symbols "convert to symbol".
It will not be a widow anymore..

Might be a better way to make it a window symbol..

Yeah, it would be nice to have control over the 2D block for custom windows.

Make a simple house plan, call it "Favorite Elements A" or something like that. Put this type thing there, and you can copy it to any other plan you are working up.
