Custom Countertop - Corner Base Cabinet

I placed a Base Corner Cabinet and then tried to extend the edges of the custom countertop along the wall to cover a Wine Cooler. This simply doesn't work correctly. The back wall edge and the front angled edge are extended, cross over one another and the counter-top continues on the opposite side of the wall.

What should happen is that the counter-top should with a front edge parallel to the wall edge. I know it's possible to insert an extra break in the cabinet edge, but CA should do this automatically.
