I think the 4 1/2" toe kick is for all the construction workers with their steel toe shoes.

Our cabinet lines are half 4 1/2 and 3 1/2.

Toe Kicks
Isn't it great that Chief is so flexible? I worked at a company with 4 cabinet lines. we had three different "standard" toekick sizes
