X3 Anyone try to use sticky mode when copying?

I tried to use Sticky mode in X3 and it didn't stick. I was wondering if anyone else has used it yet? I was trying to copy can lights.

It has been true since I first started using Chief (1994 -learned it from Dan Bauman) that when certain, usual function disappears you reboot Chief and it returns.
I haven't had to do this to date with X3 but I have had to with every other version; why?
I ascribe it to the Wonderful World of Microsoft Windows (haven't been a Mac user since 1994).

    David,
I didn't reboot. All I did was go back to the plan to see if I can sticky anything other than the lights that I tried before. I placed a primitive solid and tried the Sticky tool and it worked on the primitive. I then tried the sticky on the lights and it worked.

    It got "healed"
