Does anyone know what the difference between the pass thru tool and just a regular doorway is? Also this new X3 "Pass thru tool" where is it even located I dont see it in the door buttons?

    Thanks in Advance.

    Chad:

makes sense to be a "window"

doors are meant to be walked thru, can't walk thru if the "threshold" is too high

dshall, you are such a knucklehead, the pass thru window gives you a double line in plan view that would represent the sill of the pass thru window, nice CA, thanks.

    Lew,

I know, there wasnt any rhyme or reason I thought that, I just for some reason thought hole in the wall without glass= doorway. Im glad they left it in the window mark, it definitley makes more sense!

I agree Pam! I was actually using it for a second story veranda that was more like a covered loggia but needed the pass thru tool in X2 back when I was working on the project because doorways were cutting it yet I didnt want the glass of a window!

I didn't know you could supress the glass either Chad. I also love the new half wall tool.
