would the distributed objects tools work

on one of the videos covering this tool CA shows how to distribute one set of objects and then another and then another with different spacings to cover an area with a variety of objects

Use the multiple copy tool, then sticky mode,> multiple copy interval> check "offset between copes when dragging> set Primary Offset and Secondary Offset.

At least that's how I do it.

Mcaffey, is this just for construction docs (plan view hatch pattern) or do you need a 3d rendered output of this floor? Big difference in procedure and techniques.. Or should I say in time spent...
