    Your right Joey, must be a Noreaster....Allen, same here, It will be 42 yrs this September that I've been in this business, and the changes are unreal...I recall in late the 50's when I would hang out with my dad on jobs and he would have a guy sitting all day and just sharpen hand saws........

    Still have a scare on my thumb from a freshly sharpened had saw..

    I worked for a guy who made up sharpen our retractable razor blades....he gave us all a small 1"x2" diamond stone...crazy right? Or if the point went dull we would snap off the tip for a fresh edge, although, that I must admit I still do when doing siding & drywall. Quicker to snap it than to change it ...

    I remember straightening nails pulled out of forms to be re-used on the job !!!

    Hi! Everyone
    here in Saskatchewan we donot usually use sill plates,instead we use 2 2x4's upright spaced apart to the width of the concrete wall.still have not figured how to do that to show on elevations.
