Auto Floating Dormer

I am trying to add an Auto floating dormer, but I keep getting message. "Can not create dormer here because existing walls are in the way". The front window of the dormer is to "sit" on the outside wall, 2' from the floor. This is happening when I increase the baseline height. What am I doing wrong?

Once the roof is on, try creating a new floor and then place the floating dormer. See if that helps.
