How to create plumbing schedule in CA 9.54
Does anyone know a way to create plumbing and/or HVAC schedules using CA 9.54? Is there a library of plumbing or HVAC symbols that I can download? I only do design work on a very limited basis and it does not seem worth the cost to upgrade to X2. Thanks

The only thing built into 9.54 regarding plumbing are fixtures (toilets, tubs, sinks, etc.) that Chief will generate a schedule for. It you need feet of plumbing lines of various sizes, fittings, etc., you'll have to create that manually, perhaps with a spread sheet. There "might" be a possibility that you could create all sorts of symbols and assign layers to them and have them report to a schedule in 9.54 but that would take a bunch of time "if" it were possible. You could make 3D (isometric) schematics of DWV/hot/cold lines with CAD if desired.

9.54 does have some furnaces, water heaters, etc. that I think would report to a schedule ... you could check in Help to see if they do or better yet, try it.
