    Elevation Views

I placed my four elevations on a layout page.
I then proceeded to dimension the elevation to get roof height.
Once on the layout I could not get the end to end to number format to feet and inches. Clicking on the individual cameras on the floor plan I could do the end to end and get the right number format. Once I send the auto elevations to a layout should I not be able to end to end dim and change the number format?

    Hope this is clear...

If I understand, you are trying to dimension your elevations in layout, DON'T, dimension the elevations in plan.

Carl, are you dimensioning it in the elevation camera? It should update if you told it to. This is how I do it and never had a problem. Oh yea, If you don't see any dimensions in the viewport, then you probably have the dimension layer turned off. Select the viewport and be sure the layer is turned on.
