    Michigan - Houston User Group

    Hello Chief users,

    Our next user group meeting will be held on February 1 @ 8:00 pm.

    If you are interested in this next meeting please contact me a day before with all your questions.


    Our last meeting we covered Terrain features with Jim ( Thank you Jim)

    Any other users that may have suggestions or ideas with chief are welcome for your input to what they would like to learn. We have a great group of talented Senior chief users who would like the challenge.

    Suggested topic for next month:
    Creating a symbols
    Backing up your plan files


    Happy 9th Anniversary Houston User Group ( 9 years of chiefs challenges).

    need of help

    I have a new computer sony and
    I can't save any of the images rendered as jpg or bmp formats
    Also any of the raytraces I can't save as JPG what am I doing wrong?

    When you have your image up that you want to save, are you doing FILE>EXPORT> PICTURE>JPEG? When doing a raytrace, you have to tell it to save it as a bitmap and where you want to save it before you start the raytrace.

    Thank you very much for your reply.
    I have been doing that for many years, but this time on the new computer i cant nothing works.
    I think that it shoyld be some settings , i am not sure on windows or on chief architect.
